1971 Ford Cougar XR7

1971 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible. 351 Cleveland V8, Automatic, Rust free, never rusted body. Excellent undercarriage, needs interior work, Top excellent but power function not working and I have not diagnosed the fault. Suspension completely rebuilt, needs alignment as a result, never driven since. Engine runs well, no smoke, no noises, carb needs work. Yard drives, trans shifts but pan leaks. New starter, cables and solenoid. Needs ignition switch, must be jumped at solenoid currently (comes with used one of unknown condition). Upholstery very poor, dash very good, comes with new jute, padding and carpeting. Comes with nearly $1000 of new parts in boxes and many used parts. Have Marti report, car was originally Harvest Gold with black interior. Miles are unknown. Will be old on current Maine registration in my name, along with Conn. documentation from previous owner’s sale to myself. Maine does not title older cars. Significant health conditions are preventing me from finishing the restoration. Well over $10k invested but I will take the best reasonable offer.
