For sale is a very nice 1964 Corvair Monza Convertible project car. I bought this car a while back with intentions of finishing the restoration, but have decided I just dont have the time or energy to do it. So its time to get it out of my garage. Here is what I know about it. The restoration was started a couple of years ago but never finished. It has new paint, a new top, new seat covers and carpet, new tires, etc. Glass is good and there is no rust on the car that I could find underneath or otherwise. It does not currently run. It was said to have ran and drove before the restoration was started, but it sat for two years and the previous shop screwed around with the wiring, so the ignition switch will not turn the engine over currently. It has a new battery as well. The engine does turn freely by hand, so its not locked up. I just havent had time to dig into it yet. The car basically needs the wiring straigtened out, the top and interior install completed, trim installed (have most of the trim), and the mechanicals looked at to get it back in driving condition. Brakes are currently down as well. It’s a very good start with some of the more costly cosmetic work completed. So if your good with the mechanical side of things this would be a great project for you. I’m asking $6500 or best reasonable offer and I do have a clean NC title for it. Call or text me at 423_715_7920 if interested. Serious inquiries only please. First come first serve. Thanks-
